Tip of the day-Type of vessel to use for drinking water

Always drink water in a round, pot kind of a vessel as in the image below. The scientific reason behind this is, water in such vessels has low surface tension which reduces the chances of nerves related problems. Always try to drink water stored in a copper vessel for at least 4-8 hours.


According to a 2012 study, storing contamined water in copper pots for up to 16 hours at room temperature considerably reduced the presence of harmful microbes, so much that the researchers inferred that “copper holds promise as a point-of-use solution for microbial purification of drinking-water, especially in developing countries.”

Another study found that copper surfaces killed 97% of hospital ICU bacteria that can cause infections, resulting in 40% decrease in the infection rates.


Try to finish breakfast by 8am in the morning. Try to have full stomach breakfast which should include variety of foods to satisfy all the taste buds. If you are a sweet lover try having sweets after the breakfast, try to avoid sweets during the later part of the day. Eating sweets in the evening or night will increase unwanted calories in the body. There is a saying in telugu which means eat like a king in the morning, like a middle class person in the noon and like a poor guy in the night.
