Tip of the day-Type of vessel to use for drinking water

Always drink water in a round, pot kind of a vessel as in the image below. The scientific reason behind this is, water in such vessels has low surface tension which reduces the chances of nerves related problems. Always try to drink water stored in a copper vessel for at least 4-8 hours.


According to a 2012 study, storing contamined water in copper pots for up to 16 hours at room temperature considerably reduced the presence of harmful microbes, so much that the researchers inferred that “copper holds promise as a point-of-use solution for microbial purification of drinking-water, especially in developing countries.”

Another study found that copper surfaces killed 97% of hospital ICU bacteria that can cause infections, resulting in 40% decrease in the infection rates.


Try to finish breakfast by 8am in the morning. Try to have full stomach breakfast which should include variety of foods to satisfy all the taste buds. If you are a sweet lover try having sweets after the breakfast, try to avoid sweets during the later part of the day. Eating sweets in the evening or night will increase unwanted calories in the body. There is a saying in telugu which means eat like a king in the morning, like a middle class person in the noon and like a poor guy in the night.

my health tip of the day

What ever daily routine I'm suggesting through this blog is Ayurvedic method of starting a day. India is very well know for its tradition and culture. Keeping a healthy mind is only possible with a healthy body which happens only with proper and timely intake of food.

So, after having at least 2 glasses of water in the morning, have a glass of fresh juice or a fruit according to convenience. This mainly increases the metabolism.

I feed my 4 year old kid either banana (which is always available in India) or mango or any available fruit or dry fruit on empty stomach. 

Eat right and stay fit.

Condolences to a great human Dr. Abdul Kalam ji

Tears rolled down watching the news today.More than scientist Dr.Kalam is known to every one as a simple, down to earth person. He is the only Indian who is known to everyone from a child to an older person. India has lost the most inspiring person ever. His only motto was to see India independent in all areas.
Wish with his inspiration India gives more such great personalities.

Healthy Day start

A hearty Welcome to my blog which concentrates more on healthy ways of living.

Our day starts with the dawn. I want to start up with the moment we wake up in the morning.
Friends its always a good practise to drink 2 glasses of water immediately after you wake up without brushing your teeth, yes I mean without brushing. We at least sleep 7-8 hours and a large amount of saliva will be secreted in our mouth. Its always a good practise to retain saliva without spitting.

I shall go with one tip a day without overloading.
